Marketing and Communications AssistantStoffa Productions is a well established and fast growing New Media company based in Manhattan. They provide Web Management, creating custom identities and Web applications and Architecture, to a diverse portfolio of clients with a focus on businesses and professionals in the Arts world.
Stoffa Productions has an opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented candidate. The intern will assist the owner, the company’s creative director, in her Web Management and Business Development duties.
Tasks include:
- Write the corporate newsletter
- Update the corporate website by writing and editing web content (new clients, new projects. Freelance profile etc …) and Photoshop Images.
- Research leads to market Stoffa’ s Services and put them in the Access database
- Conceive, write and distribute promotional email pieces
- Help with the Web management of client sites by doing Website Review Reports, site flowcharts and wireframes, and ordinary Web maintenance.
The candidate must have excellent writing skills as well as good phone manners. A solid knowledge of Word, Excel, and a basic knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Flash and FTP is required. Familiarity with Access and Illustrator preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to commit for at least 20 hours a week for at least 3 months.
The internship is unpaid, but transportation cost is reimbursed. College credits are available. This is a wonderful experience for interns to show their creativity and sharpen their business skills while working with a team of business minded, highly creative professionals.
Video Production AssistantStoffa Productions is a well established and fast growing New Media company based in Manhattan. They provide Web Management, creating custom identities, design and Web applications to a diverse portfolio of clients with a focus on businesses and professionals in the Arts world.
Stoffa Productions has an opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented intern for its Video Production activities. The intern will assist the owner, the company’s creative director, in the production of promotional Web Video, freelancer and client Video Testimonials and Video Greeting Cards.
Tasks include:
- Discuss with the owner the “style and feel” of the videos
- Research and acquire stock footage
- Research and create a music/sound effects Library
- Shoot footage
- Digitize and edit footage
- Create video greeting card
The candidate must have a solid knowledge of video editing principles. Knowledge of AVID and/or Vegas a big plus. The ideal candidate must be able to commit for 20 hours a week for at least 3 months.
