Spring 2008 Newsletter

Stoffa Productions has had an exciting season, and we wanted to share some of the good news with you. In the past few months, we’ve launched a number of new sites, the business sustained by our e-commerce clients has grown exponentially, and we’ve begun working with new clients and Stoffa staffers.

Most recently, we launched our newest site Benedek Films. The clients couldn't be more pleased with their new online identity and presence along with the press application that makes film promotion simple. With all of the complexity and elegance of the films they produce, Benedek's site will be working for them in no time.

E-Commerce

Tinto Fino Shopping Cart

For years, we have provided fully functioning e-commerce capabilities that never sacrifice the individuality of our clients’ websites. This season, we’re proud to announce an expansion of those applications. Our programmers have been working to integrate e-commerce solutions even more seamlessly into the day-to-day business operations of our clients while ensuring continued security and user ease.

The custom e-commerce applications we developed for Spanish wine vendor Tinto Fino has allowed the client to enjoy double the business they were doing prior to our launch of tintofino.com, the site we created for them last season. In the words of Tinto Fino's owner, "The ecommerce applications that Stoffa Productions designed are very easy to use. They have assisted as a valuable, functional and attractive online sales tool." Worth & Worth has had similar success with their online sales, now that customers can choose fabrics, styles and sizes for their custom hats without leaving the store’s website.

Available as an add-on to an existing site or as part of a bundle for a new project, Stoffa e-commerce capabilities remain affordable even as we tailor the applications to the needs of each client. Tinto Fino and Worth and Worth are just a few of the companies who have reaped the benefits of our custom applications. These and other small businesses are now able to compete internationally because of the ease with which Stoffa Productions linked their offline and online business.

Socially Responsible Business

Property Map designed for TBE

Following our tradition of giving socially responsible companies the best possible web representation, we also just launched a new site for green real estate firm The Built Environment. This New York-based company has a unique vision--to bring green living to everyone interested, whether individual, company, or developer. In order to further this noble goal Stoffa Productions developed an extraordinary property map for the site that allows users to see all green buildings currently in New York City, with pop-ups that contain additional information as well as downloadable PDFs. The self-motivated maintenance center allows staff to add and edit properties at the touch of a button.

We also created custom designs, logos, and applications for the client, thanks in large part to the efforts of Julian Zuluaga, a new Stoffa designer who brings a vibrant, youthful aesthetic to all of his projects. Originally from Columbia, Julian moved to the U.S. when he was 20 years old. After gaining experience working in various capacities in the arts, he earned his bachelor of arts degree from Brooks College in Los Angeles. He has completed a number of design projects in print and online and we are excited to have his unique vision and keen aesthetic sensibility as a resource for current and future projects.

With the launch of The Built Environment, Benedek Films, and our newest project, El Quinto Pino, another Spanish tapas bar, on the way, Stoffa shows no sign of slowing down as the warm weather approaches.
